Since having my son in 2018, I’ve experienced chronic back and pelvis pain. Even before this I’ve battled with chronic stress and insomnia. Nothing I did seemed to help with any of my issues. Manual therapies just kept things from getting worse.
Walking, strength training, yoga, Pilates, eliminating anti inflammatory foods, and supplements didn’t work. I was desperate to feel better and being pregnant again with even more pain, I started taking very strong medication, hoping it would ease my pain by reducing inflammation. One potential cause of my pain was thought to be from Ankilosing Spondylitis.
Nothing seemed to work.
BUT OMG since starting the pain series program 4 weeks ago, my pain has reduced significantly and shifted dramatically! I no longer have this tight, tense, bone on bone, ceasing pain along my lower lumbar spine, SI joints and pelvis. It’s just incredible. For the first time in almost 3 years I can pick up my kids and play without feeling debilitating pain—pain to the point that I needed to sit down and immediately apply a hot water bottle on my back and take ibuprofen. I also feel more energized and have tools to help cope with my emotional pain and stress, and insomnia—which all impacts physical pain. I’m beyond grateful that I heard about Carrie and Nicole’s pain relief program. This has been a very difficult journey for me; from running 10-15km with no pain to feeling broken and needing bed rest just from vacuuming, grocery shopping, walking 30 mins, showering, holding my son, running for 2 mins, to all the medical treatments and appointments with no diagnosis or plan to move forward. Until now.
What you learn from the pain relief series are life long tools; if you keep up with this practice you will keep your mind and body healthy. I have a newborn and toddler and make sure to fit in 20-30 mins a day and the results have been almost impossible to believe. It’s worth it!

The pain I had for 15 years is gone
I had both of my hips replaced 11 years ago. I believe the condition was due to undetected hip dysplasia in infancy. The new porcelain replacements worked just fine, but the discomfort continued. Living in a 2 story house, my coping strategy was to plan my days to minimize trips to another floor of the house as much as possible.
After the first Soma Yoga class I experienced many different sensations, none of them remarkable or unpleasant...and then... I started my climb up the stairs at bedtime. The pain that I had for about 15 years was gone! My brain kept saying....something is different...you are not in pain!

I no longer have any pain
I just wanted you to know that I had an amazing experience yesterday. I went to mail a couple of parcels at the local outlet. I parked my car, masked and mittened up and started walking. I had gone about half the distance when I began to feel that something was missing...
keys, purse, locked the car?
Oh wait...I do NOT have any pain! Since I have started doing the exercises nightly in bed I am having great results. I hear your voice saying patience and persistence.

My headaches are pretty much gone
I am happy to report that there have been noticeable changes in my body energy. I can be up for longer and feel stronger. Body stress level is down by one. I am feeling better on waking and the pain level is decreased. I am walking up and down stairs more easily and am more upright and lighter on my feet. I still meditate daily, walk 30 minutes and do my exercises...I have had a tense muscle in my left back and referred pain to neck and occipital headaches several times a week for three years.
Headaches are pretty much gone and stuck muscle is still there but seems smaller
if this makes sense.

I highly recommend the Pelvic Floor Series
As a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, I would highly recommend the Resolve Pain Guru pelvic floor class for anyone who is interested in connecting holistically with their pelvis and learn about their body at a deeper level. In one session, I was able to release tensions in my lower back in pelvis that I did not even know I had, and I could notice a significant difference in my back mobility after the class. Very smoothly and with step by step instructions, they lead you through peeling the layers of tensions that we all accumulate in our daily life with gentle motion and awareness.
I loved all the explanations provided through the class – Nicole & Carrie are extremely knowledgeable and accurate in their teaching. I will absolutely recommend the class to my clients!
